Digital Workshop

This workshop provides support and assistance for a wide variety of printing techniques, as well as photography and videography with a fully equipped photo studio and a darkroom, sound recording, PC computers and a large range of software.

The Digital Workshop Helpdesk is equipped with hardware and equipment that can be borrowed for students for us on location for sound, video and photography, as well as cables and projectors. Current students are able to borrow equipment using the workshop’s booking system and their student card.

The Helpdesk also provides support for printing and the use of the school’s computers.

Printing options include:

• Document printing on paper or film (A4 and A3)
• Document binding
• XL printing up to 130cm wide on several materials
• Photo printing
• UV-printing
• Sign-cut plotting with several materials
• Scanning (negative and positive)
• Heat pressing on textiles

Equipment to borrow includes:

• Photography and video cameras
• Tripods
• Lights
• Sound recorders and speakers
• Beamers
• Connectors and cables

Students are strongly encouraged to bring a backup device to save their work if using the school’s communal computers. Students cards are required to use the printing services and borrow equipment.

Reservations for equipment are the only way to guarantee that an item will be available to borrow.
