Graduation Show 2024
Design Academy Eindhoven is excited to announce the Graduation Show 2024, taking place between 19th - 27th October during Dutch Design Week. During these nine days, visitors can experience 200 Bachelor and Master graduate projects alongside a digital and physical public programme. This year’s show will take place at Microstad near Eindhoven Central Station, which offers a diverse range of environments with exciting opportunities for project presentations and active engagement with the public.
The Graduation Show exhibits 200 Bachelor and Master graduates and their projects.
The show will also present the Award Ceremony for the annual Gijs Bakker, René Smeets and Melkweg Awards. The nominees have been selected during the assessment of the Master and Bachelor graduation projects by a jury of experts who convened at Design Academy Eindhoven in June.
The winners will receive a sum of € 2,000 and a trophy designed by DAE alumnus Olga Flor in collaboration with EE Labels.
BOOKSHOP
This year’s Bookshop hosted by Limestone Bookstore features thesis books, written works, and a dedicated space for programmed discussions.
GRADUATION SHOW DESIGN TOURS
The GS Design Tours are a student-run initiative for guided tours, based upon individually curated tours, arranged, produced, and guided by the graduates of 2024. The aim of this programme is to provide unique experiences of the Graduation Show and offer professional and business relations a personalised tour of work of DAE-graduates.
By booking a tour, you will not only get inspired, but you will also support DAE’s Alumni Association to develop new initiatives by and for our alumni (a part of the tours’ proceeds will be donated).
