Studying at Design Academy Eindhoven puts you in the heart of one of the Netherland’s most dynamic cities with a vibrant student population and a budgeoning tech industry. For many students, living in Eindhoven also marks their first experience of living away from home.

The Housing Officer at DAE is available to listen and advise students regarding and unexpected changes or issues they experience with their landlord or while renting, and for stakeholders, organisations and individuals outside of DAE to connect with the academy.

QUESTIONS?

The DAE Housing Officer, Ned Kaar, provides advice and guidance regarding housing issues and can be consulted via email. To visit Ned in person on the 2nd floor, please mail ahead to housing@designacademy.nl to make an appointment (Tuesdays or Thursdays).

Are you renting a room, studio, apartment or house in Eindhoven and are you experiencing problems with your home, landlord or rental price? O do you want to check on your rental price or contract? You can reach out to Huurteam Eindhoven, the rental team of Eindhoven, assisting you in finding an appropriate answer to your question.

HET JURIDISCH LOKET

Het Juridisch Loket located around the corner from DAE provide free legal advice via walk-in consultations. Self-described as “first responders for legal questions” they can assist with anything that is best answered by a legal professional relating to housing, contracts, and also work, debts and justice amongst other topics.

On their website you can find a range of useful resources such as sample letters to object to rental increases, requests for co-tenancy and letters to announce the termination of your rental contract.
