Print Manual

Download and install instructions for Printing to the LQ and/or HQ printers from your laptop.

Step 1
Please remove your old HQ and LQ printer drivers first.

Step 2

To start the deployment of the (PaperCut) printer driver client, open the website myNetPay and click on SURFconext.

A. Login with Your UPN (studentnumber@student.designacademy.nl) and your Password from the DAE
B. Click the green “Mobility Print” button
C. Click the operating system of your device. A download request is made.
(At this moment only “Windows” or “Mac” is supported.)
D. In Windows please select “Open” option to start the PaperCut driver client.
On Mac OS click the downloaded file.
E. On Mac OS run the .pkg file
F. Please walk through the installation of the PaperCut Print Deploy Client and “Finish” when ready.
G. In Windows “Allow the app to make changes to your device” if prompted
On Mac OS allow the “Installer” and click “OK”
H. Login with Your STUDENT NUMBER and your Password from the DAE. Click the green “Log in and add printers” button.
I. Go to “Add printer / Printer toevoegen”
J. Click the “Install” button for the HQ and LQ drivers. At this moment only HQ1 and LQ1 are supported.
K. Click “My printers / Mijn printers” and wait until the drivers for the printers are finished installing.
Close the window when all is installed.

The LQ1 and HQ1 can now be used.

The instructors of the Digital Workshop can assist with making the right settings for a specific print. When you send a print command, it will take longer to print than when printing from the workshop’s
computers, as the file is being sent over the Internet.

Remember that the print queue will expire. Sending a print today, is no guarantee that it still exists in the queue tomorrow. The print queue refreshes regularly!
