As every year, many of our alumni are presenting their work at Milan Design Week. Watch this space!

  • VITA LENTA, ISOLA DESIGN DISTRICT

Hannah Caroline Segerkrantz (2020) and Johanna Seeleman (2019) show their graduation project Hemp-it-yourself at Vita Lenta, an exhibition curated by Finemateria in Isola Design District. You can find more information about the exhibition here

  • LAUNCH OF THE GB1 CHAIR FOR KARAKTER

Gijs Bakker, founder of DAE Masters and former head of BA and MA departments, is releasing his GB1 Chair from 1972 with the Danish company Karakter and Cassina in Milan. On the occasion of the launch of the product, the Cassina Showroom invites visitors at Via Durini 16, from 6-12 June.

  • RODERICK VOS, CONNECTED - SALONE

Roderick Vos is an alumnus of AIVE/DAE (1991). From 7-12 June, he is exhibiting the project Conneced at Fiera Milano Rho (Hall 7 Booth FJ5)

  • COMMON SANDS - FORITE TILES, AT ALCOVA

Studio Plastique are Archibald Godts (2017) and Theresa Bastek (2017). From 5-12 June, their forite tiles will be shown at Alcova. More info, here

  • ANATOMIC, AT ROSSANA ORLANDI

Nynke Tynagel (2000) is showing the work Anatomic, presented by new design-art initiative, inCC: this piece is made possible through textile innovation from BYBORRE.
Anatomic will launch at Rossana Orlandi (Via Matteo Bandello 14-16) during Milan Design Week 2022, from 6-12 June.

  • WE WILL DESIGN, AT BASE

As part of WE WILL DESIGN at BASE, students from Tecnológico de Monterrey will challenge how technology is conceived in traditional design, mentored by Mexican designer José de la O (2010). Through a collection of electronic devices, the students will focus on utilizing light or sound to create meaningful interactions with the audience. More information can be found here.

  • CORES, AT SCHÖNBUCH SHOWROOM

Leandra Eibl (2018) shows the furniture project CORES at the temporary showroom of Schönbuch, at Via Brera 2. More information about the project can be found, here

  • SPACES FOR WELL-BEING, CERTOSA INITIATIVE

From 7-12 June, Alissa van Asseldonk (2012) and Nienke Bongers (2013) present Spaces for Well-Being at Certosa Initiative, Via Barnaba Oriani 27.
