DAE Alumni at OBJECT Rotterdam
Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE) is very happy to see such a strong turn out from alumni and tutors of DAE who will be showing work at this weekend’s OBJECT Rotterdam.
The show will include new works from tutors past and present and established names such as Dick van Hoff (DE KLEIN & VAN HOFF), Floris Hovers, Chris Koens and Iris Toonen.
A recognised event in the Dutch design calendar, OBJECT will host a number of alumni who are making their mark on the field such as Dirk Duif, Seunghwan Ji (StudioJibyJi), Iris van Daalen and Ruben Their (Studio Their&vanDaalen), Lucas Zito and Teun Zwets.
OBJECT forms an important springboard for a new generation of designers and we are excited to also recognize recent graduates from the class of 2022 who are exhibiting at the event including Juno Brown, Clémentine Buffa (Studio Kloumi), Pepijn Fabius Clovis, Julian Gresham, Barry Llewellyn, Emmie Massias, Floris Meijer (Studio Floris Meijer), Ori Orisun Merhav, Sohye Shin, Pepe Valenti and Jiin Yoon. The event is arranged as part of Rotterdam Art Week, which will also house graduates Clara Schweers, Brogen Berwickand Teresa Fernandez-Pello as part of The New Current, a platform for talented young artists.
Located in the HAKA-building in Rotterdam’s Harbour Area, OBJECT is located within the vicinity of studios of widely acclaimed DAE alumni such as Richard Hutten, Sabine Marcelis, Vincent de Rijk, Dorus Faber, and Studio Minale-Meada amongst others.
DAE wishes all alumni and tutors a successful week at both OBJECT and Art Rotterdam, which will be open to trade and public throughout the weekend.
