Transcending SpaceTime Realities: an Immersive Networked XR Performance at the Immersive Tech Week
Studio Biscoe, in collaboration with DAE’s research department, the Trans Realities Lab and Digital Focus module students of Professor Biscoe, has been invited to act as a resident creator during the Immersive Tech Week (ITW) in Rotterdam, between 27 November and 1 December 2023.
Studio Biscoe, in collaboration with DAE’s research department, the Trans Realities Lab and Digital Focus module students of Professor Biscoe, has been invited to act as a resident creator during the Immersive Tech Week (ITW) in Rotterdam, between 27 November and 1 December 2023.
Their performance, titled Transcending SpaceTime Realities: an Immersive Networked XR Performance, investigates new approaches to applications of XR in live theatre, audience perspectives on actor immersion, and collaboration across distributed XR networks. The workshop will run throughout the week of ITW in the Eduard Flipse Zaal at De Doelen, with a live performance on Friday 1 December 2023 at 15.15.
