Will You Still Remember Me After I Leave?

Chen’s personal experience as a nomad who travels frequently, living in different countries and cities, has led to a detached and temporary relationship to the places she has lived and stayed in. However, the widespread self-isolation experienced during the Covid-19 lockdowns and travel bans created space for reflection on the real nature of the designer’s relationship to domestic space and his living environment. The installation functions as a snapshot, capturing the last moment before Chen leaves a place and starts a new journey. Will she be remembered after she leaves? What will be left behind? How many memories have been created in this place?
