Pulp It

Vincent Dassi

Why continue to order products from China and produce more waste when you can make and remake almost everything from what is available at home? Vincent Dassi brings the art of papier-mâché to a new level, showing its potential for an extremely local, low-tech and sustainable production of everyday objects. On his online platform he shares the recipe for paper pulp: shred soaked paper or cardboard waste in your juicer, add rice starch and the creative process can begin. The clay-like substance can be easily moulded into any shape – a chair, coffee table, lamp, vacuum cleaner or even guitar. If it breaks, no panic; everything can be fixed with a bit of fresh pulp.
