Graduation project
Hélo
Pieter Husmann
When our phone beeps, we feel an urgent need to check the screen. But the circumstances aren’t always right for it. Wearable electronics are therefore on the rise. By combining tech innovation and hearing aid technology, Pieter Husmann has devised a 3D-printed wireless in-earphone: ‘Hélo’. Each earphone is custom-made from transparent rubber. The premium-metal button features a single four-way switch to activate different functions, such as finding a new text message or e-mail. The earphone can be used when driving, or in activities like running, where it can provide statistical info without a screen.
