A documentary focusing on the production tracks of three sculptors in Seravezza, Tuscany. Nicolas Bertoux, Cynthia Sah and Umit Turgay Durgun allow us to delve into their creative process and realm. In an era of perpetual technical evolution, authenticity, tradition and craft are challenged as tools that change the rules of creativity. Through a collection of marble furniture, entitled ‘TABLU’, Pierre Salaün explores the underside of a creation, its environment and its production. The film ‘Laboratorio’, captured and edited with the assistance of Gabriel Madignier, is projected onto ‘TABLU’ and is itself produced in a way that corresponds with the ideas developed in the film and that, in turn, led to the furniture. This revolving dynamic triggers conversations. Enjoy the journey!
