Bouquet of Flowers

Everyone loves a bouquet of flowers. Yet often, instead of enjoying their scent, we only have eyes for the beauty of the blooms. Payam Askari therefore seeks to redress this sensory bias, shifting our focus to their fragrance. Bouquet of Flowers is a series of elegant glass vials containing five custom-made elixirs. Together, they diffuse the aroma of an entire bouquet. Elongated translucent stems blossom out into shapes suggestive of individual flowers. Rocking the rounded base of the vials sends the floral perfume wafting up the glass, reawakening us to the power of this under-used sense.
