"Pharmakon Reframing the Consumption of Entheogens through the Alchemy of Ritualised Healing"
Pablo Rego Rivera (and Camila d’Estutt d’Assay)
A dining experience introduces people to the healing power of the ritualistic use of entheogens, the psychedelic substances derived from plants.
Enter ‘Pharmakon’, a dining experience that invites the spectator to consume and (re)discover the transformative power of entheogenic rituals. We welcome you to sit for a moment with us to consume, explore, and reframe the origins, rituals, and stories of eight organic psychoactive medicines: coffee, cannabis, psilocybin, rapé, kratom, cacao, blue lotus, and dream seed. We aim to foster a space for thoughtful discourse and ceremony around the paradoxical nature of entheogens, thus highlighting their potential for profound healing. Through mindful engagement with tools and artifacts, we aim to honour the ritualised consumption of each entheogen. This project invites you to indulge your senses and embark on a journey that explores the harmony between ancient wisdom and the rhythms of contemporary existence.
