Hemp offers a strong fibre for sustainable textiles: it is hypoallergenic and biodegradable and it grows faster than cotton, with less impact on the environment. Even though it has been used for ages, it is now impossible to find clothing made from 100 percent hemp. Since it belongs to the same family as marijuana, it has been discredited based on false assumptions. Natasha Amisha aims to rebrand hemp by giving accurate product information, showcasing its true potential and redesigning the negative iconography. With ‘Honestly Hemp’ she launches a lifestyle brand of pure hemp clothes and accessories that shake off the stigma and inspire a renewed appreciation of this versatile fibre.
