What's in a Tear?

Merle Bergers

"I see them as souvenirs of bygone emotions."

WHAT Tears captured in a piece of jewellery as a precious reminder of a moving moment. WHY Crying in public may feel embarrassing, but why be ashamed to show your feelings? These pearl gems showcase the beauty of past emotions and cherish the story behind them forever. HOW Merle Bergers discovered how to extract the minerals from tears and transform these into gemstones. They get their shine from a secret baking process in the high-temperature ceramics oven. As the composition of every tear is different, each gem carries the personal signature of the person who cried it.
