Parole Perdute - Lost Words
Parole Perdute - Lost Words is an experimental animated short film that explores the relationship between sound and image. As a tribute to the universal language of music and storytelling, the designer set up a game-like framework to collaborate with musicians from the Eindhoven Symphony Orchestra Ensuite. This collaborative process resulted in an analogue stop-motion animation that introduces the audience to a character experiencing writer's block, accompanied by a spontaneous musical improvisation, followed by a digital animation that visualises the composition 'Largo for strings' by Alex Gräwe, recorded at Daltoon Studio, as it provides a glimpse into the character's mind, which is abstract and intangible.
