The Line of Water - Urban Living Room

In a period where we are losing the pleasure of sharing spaces and time with others, the aim of the ‘Urban Living Room’ project is to create moments of collectiveness and conviviality around wooden installations in Venice’s Sant’Elena Gardens. Imagine a sunny day, when the tide slowly rises and you will feel as if you’re walking on water. The benches and platforms Margherita Issori designed will help you connect to the natural elements. There are sloping surfaces to recline on and benches partly floating on the water, playing with the rising of the tide. Dwelling on these structures, you’ll touch the ground, see the sky and feel the water, ending up immersed in a multitude of sensations.
