Sindaco
This narrative-driven game is set in a sleepy fishing town in southern Italy. You play the Mayor – the Sindaco – and your task is to transform the place into a tourist hub. Interacting with the eclectic locals, you can affect the livelihoods of your people, revitalising the economy and dragging it, sometimes by force, into the twenty-first century. Luca Muscia wants to show how detached tourists are – by design – from the place they are visiting, in order to hide the exploitation happening under the surface. You get to peek behind the curtains, so to speak, and experience the kind of corruption and political intrigue that happens in these little towns that are not equipped to deal with a sudden economic boom.
