Fragment
Louis Goasdoué
Remodelled, transformed and trampled, the landscape that surrounds us today is barely ever untouched, leading to a decline of biodiversity. But in the in-between spaces and bare plots waiting to be developed, nature seizes its chance. Louis Goasdoué researched the marginal spaces of Eindhoven and discovered that they function as gatekeepers of the city’s biodiversity. His travelling exhibition urges city planners and inhabitants to leave these undefined spaces alone for as long as possible. ‘Fragment’ is a project that – for once – celebrates slow decision-making, showcasing that postponement can lead to beautiful nature-inclusive results.
