Eye For An Eye
Jules Bernard
In an age of heightened security measures and increased surveillance, the question is whether the state is protecting citizens, or restraining them? How to fight for freedom when basic civil rights such as the right to privacy and protest are under threat? ‘Eye for an Eye’ by Jules Bernard addresses this highly topical issue. An awareness campaign and set of tools combined, it gives people a voice and empowers them with a way to actively monitor the state. Placards are fitted with cameras and a ‘recording gun’ to shoot footage as evidence of any violations. Because the state should also be kept under watch.
