From Waste to Wonder
From Waste to Wonder is a workshop designed to spark creativity, environmental consciousness, and sustainable practices. In this hands-on activity, participants aged seven to sixteen craft their own toys and accessories using recycled materials like coffee waste, potato starch and casein (a protein found in milk). When the toys reach the end of their lifespan, they can be composted. Based on experiential learning, participants are actively engaged in every step, from crafting recipes to shaping and assembling. The workshop methodology aims to inspire reimagining waste, while fostering a deeper understanding of environmental responsibility and stimulating the skills needed to become makers and innovators.
