Community networks are known alternatives to large tech companies, however there is a steep learning curve and information is not easily accessible. This visual album distributed by means of a raspberry pi was designed to show, inform and entertain on the topic of alternative digital networks, while not looking out of place in your local Colombian restaurant. The songs and music videos tell of the coming together of a music band in response to the connectivity controls introduced by Facebook in the Global South. Reviving a modality of oral culture, it demonstrates that big tech narratives might be forceful but they are not inevitable.
