Pop-up Poll

Daniel Laufs

## “Pop-Up Poll is a simple tool to engage citizens in the decision-making process around local issues.”

‘Pop-Up Poll’ is a platform for citizens to take part in local decision-making. The system offers an appealing multiple-choice poll, which can be used by citizens while waiting in a town hall. To cast their vote on a certain topic, people place a small bloc over one of three poles according to their answer of their choice. The results of the poll are instantly visible and don’t require further analysis or processing. They can be recorded and communicated with a single photo, which includes the question, the options and the result. Because town hall visitors come from all sections of society, the results will be representative of the community’s opinion.
