Inside my head
Claudia Rao Hackett
An audiovisual installation that invites visitors to explore and reflect on the complexities of the inner-self.
We all have an inner voice, an internalized self that lives in the shadows of our mind and engages with our deepest feelings and emotions. These voices are what Claudia Rao Hackett calls the ‘demon spirits’. They feed a symphony of musings, often creating internal mind games of right and wrong, doubts and desires, order and chaos. These conflicting thoughts pull you into an ethereal realm where introspection intertwines with the surreal and the intangible. ‘Inside my head’ is a spatial and auditory installation, which invites you to explore and reflect on the complexities of the inner-self and consider your own demon spirits.
