Touching memories

Clara Roussel

## “I want to value our memories and find out how we can develop true affection for objects.”

Can a childhood memory become an everyday object? Warm recollections of playful moments on the couch in her grandparents’ house, inspired Clara Roussel to create ‘Jackie’. This new sofa is an interpretation rather than a replica, a tactile souvenir of the atmosphere and feelings of long ago. The colours, the texture, the way you can rest your head on the side; all the elements are there, but moulded into a new shape. Instead of looking at a dusty photograph, you can take a seat to get in touch with Clara’s memories. Or ask her to design a personal piece for your interior too, bringing back your own happy memories on a daily basis.
