Burnout, The Game

A game about mental health in the workplace encouraging players to recognise the value of collaboration.
While burnout from work-related stress is at an all-time high, pressure at work often remains unmanaged. Financial profit still outweighs the well-being of employees. Charlène Dosso designed a game that raises awareness of this topic and offers staff members a playful escape from an imminent breakdown. In the competitive version stress comes from other players but also from boss cards hidden in the deck. It presents the players with the dilemma between the need to reduce their own stress levels and passing the problem onto their colleagues. Once players recognise this predicament, they are invited to play the collaborative version, where the goal is to get everyone out of stress.
