The Reclaiming Her Project is an exploration of female sexuality and body image. Drawing on personal struggles with body acceptance and societal pressures, the project presents individual creations of body jewellery that accentuate the very features often hidden in shame, becoming a testament to female power and beauty. By creating a photographic archive, the project invites participants to experience their individual pieces and proposes a transformative ritual of photographing their own insecurities. This act of reclamation not only promotes individual healing, but also challenges sexist social norms and encourages a collective reassessment of beauty standards.
