Today some 60 per cent of people cannot find clothing that fits well. Falling outside of standard sizes they feel inadequate, but still keep buying, supporting the status quo. What if there was a way to create custom garments, improve body confidence and still cater to the masses? This is what Bianca Gorini proposes with ‘Taylor’. She combines 3D printing with quality fabrics and classic tailoring to produce basic clothing. The garments are made at home with no extra skills required. Just insert your measurements into the application and a pattern, complete with fasteners, is 3D printed directly onto the fabric. Not a single stitch is needed.
