The Fully Functioning Person
Why do people do what they do? ‘The Fully Functioning Person’ is a conversation starter that asks this question. A blend of philosophy and psychology, this game explores human potential and root cause mapping. Practicing the theory of self-determination, players discuss their motivations based on their assigned personalities (Underdog, Collaborator and Problem Solver). The aim is to build a community with a strong sense of belonging and social cohesiveness. In collaboration with Tiny Miracles, Anussha Gupta made an Indian community edition that encourages the women she researched to ask themselves: What are the fundamental psychological needs after leaving the poverty cycle? How do they sustain this momentum of change? How can the community thrive collectively without assistance?
