Urban Forage Lab

As one of the greenest cities in the Netherlands, Eindhoven contains many places where we can learn about nature. And one way of getting to know about local plants and engaging with the urban environment and the seasons is through foraging. Moreover, plants can become a resource for biobased materials and for crafts such as basket-weaving and spinning. Anna Holst designed the mobile ‘Urban Forage Lab’ to showcase ways of observing, engaging, experimenting and creating with local nature, inviting you to join in. In the process, the lab strengthens the intrinsic connections between people and their city surroundings.
