Internship

The internship takes place in the second half of the third year, when students complete placements within a professional environment and gain practical experience in different types of practice.

Internship is an integral part of Bachelor program at Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE). Our students use this opportunity to learn and test their knowledge and skills in practice and gain working experience in a professional setting. The internship company welcomes an internationally-oriented design student from DAE who brings in fresh insight and new perspective.

The majority of DAE students go on internship during the 2nd semester of the 3rd-year, which starts in February and ends in July (average of 5 months). A very small group of students go on internship between September and February. Internship programme accounts for 25 study credits, which is an equivalent of 700 hours.

DAE has an internal internship database where internship opportunities are offered. This database can only be accessed by students of DAE. All internships for DAE students must be offered on this platform.
