Bio

Studio C.A.R.E. is a design studio based in Rotterdam, working at the intersection of art, interior design, and architecture, led by Christine van Meegen and Sebastian Kubersky. Since its founding in 2015, the studio has been characterised by a radical and playful approach to space. From Curated Catastrophes to Infinite Dinners to the modular interior line “Rotterdam System,” all methods challenge norms and push boundaries to create experiences that bring you into closer contact with your surroundings.

Whether it is institutions, private clients, shops, companies, universities, communities, or museums, Studio C.A.R.E.’s work thrives on collaboration. The studio specialises in crafting unique designs together with clients, based on their needs. Combined with modularity, this approach allows both the design and the people involved to evolve.

In all projects, the ecological footprint of materials and objects is central - from the choice of materials, their origin, and ingredients, to reuse and recycling - Studio C.A.R.E. aims for the most sustainable solution.

Since 2019, their modular interior system, called ROSy, has featured in almost every project and has recently become a regenerative furniture library.
