Tuition Fees and Living Expenses

The tuition fees for studying at Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE) are determined annually. The statutory tuition fee is set by the Dutch government, while the institutional tuition fee is established by the DAE board and is based on the statutory rate.
  • Statutory Tuition Fee: Applies to students from the Netherlands, EU/EEA countries, Switzerland, and Suriname.
  • Institutional Tuition Fee: Applies to students from non-EU/EEA countries and those who have already obtained a degree from a Dutch government-funded program.

For students eligible for the statutory tuition fee, enable DAE to receives a state contribution from the Dutch government.

For students who do not qualify for the statutory tuition fee and the accompanying state contribution, the institutional tuition fee applies. This fee reflects the full cost of the study program.

Eligibility for Statutory Tuition Fee
In some cases, non-EU/EEA students may qualify for the statutory tuition fee. To do so, they must meet the nationality requirements for a government study grant from DUO.
