Minimal Water – The 1 Litre Shower
Jonas Görgen
“Rethinking the way we wash ourselves”
What: A new way of bathing, using mist. It feels as wet as a shower, but actually uses ten times less water.
Why: A hot shower not only takes up half of our daily water consumption, but also requires a huge amount of energy. ‘Minimal Water’ offers a more considered approach, using a fraction of the water and heat whilst creating a sensorial bathing experience.
How: Mist nozzles break down the water into tiny droplets that multiply the surface area, meaning less water is needed. The round structure with a mesh screen keeps the mist close and offers optimal thermal comfort.
