‘Greenify’ is an online community-based platform that promotes green alternatives. The platform brings together everyone who wishes to bring forth a truly sustainable economy by sharing and buying environmentally sane products. The project developed from a joint academy assignment by Jan-Willem van Vulpen and Roey Alfassi, who were asked to find new applications for non-recyclable waste. “Isn’t it better to avoid such waste in the first place?” they thought. The Greenify platform aims to become the world’s largest open community and green database, where people can submit, rate, compare and buy products by considering the level of sustainability of these products.
