Where The Wind Blows
Fier Van Den Berge
Terschelling is famous for its beach, dunes and Boschplaat nature reserve, but what do we know about the grasslands in the middle? Pim Bens and Fier van den Berge embarked on an expedition to explore the Terschelling polder landscape. They set off in their self-made mobile research station: a site hut upgraded with a big window, a rooftop lookout and solar panels. Following the wind, they kept moving around, collecting data, meeting the locals and recording their heartwarming stories. Want to know more about cows with necklaces, illegal eel fishing or the island’s beachcombing culture? Just follow the hut, knock on their door and enjoy the ride!
